"You're my best friend, Shmuel... My best friend for life."

I haven't been so moved by a movie in such a long time. The juxtaposition of darkness and innocence had me tearing up by the end of the movie. Look at me talking about juxtapositions, I clearly don't have my head on right. I feel like I've just been gutted out too. 


"We're not supposed to be friends, you and me. We're meant to be enemies. Did you know that?"


 I am now on a quest to search for the novel. Must watch. again and again and again.
