Yesterday, a friend and I were supposed to attend a orchestra rehearsal for our music criticism class. We couldn't find the venue and it took us a good 30 minutes to call it quits and ditch it. It was still 4:30pm and we didn't want to waste the final hours of daylight so we hopped in her car and drove around town aimlessly. I haven't been with her in quite a while so we just spent the trip talking about anything and everything. Almost ran over a cyclist, went through a Mcdonald's drive-thru, drove to find a park bench of some sort and just ate and talked until the clouds were finally replaced by stars. I live for spontaneous moments like these.
