When I got back from the mall last night, I was still feeling unnaturally bored. It was 11pm; I wanted to go out but I didn't know where to, so I decided to go over to 7/11 right across the street. I asked my friend Rachel to go with me because the campus gets really dark around that time (yes, I am a wuss). 

By '7/11', I meant an 'impulsive decision to ride a cab to banchetto at 12am'.

Banchetto is in Ortigas, and is basically a long strip of road filled with a shit ton of food stalls. They open at 12am only every Friday and close at 11am the next day.

When I say a lot of food, I mean it. 

You could spend a good hour just thinking about what to get.

And holy fuck the place was crowded. night owls.

This is probably my favourite kind of food stall-- meat on sticks. Seriously, meat on sticks are a god-sent invention. 

There were a lot of deserts too. It was kinda sad, I didn't have my usual appetite on for that night. 

Oh god the grilled burger patties

and the really unappetizing shawarma. You've never tasted real shawarma unless it's from the Middle East. I know what I'm talking about. 

kinda wondered what happens to all the left-over food afterwards. 

I ended up getting this highly questionable looking fish fillet

And Alfredo pasta. hrhrhr

bea was obviously happy.

aaand last one for the night.

we ended up going home at around 2am. I had to wake up a few hours later for a 9am class. hrhr.

walked our way through the pitch-dark campus. I've heard stories before so I was kind of reluctant to take pictures. 

something about a headless priest that roams about at night. 

when the blue lights are on, it means it's past curfew. The guard let this one slide though and I have no idea why. 

I'm looking forward to going back next time. Hopefully it won't be as impulsive as this and my usual appetite would be back by then.
